Demons are not evil, they just enjoy to sin.

Biology

Demons are a very diverse Species with huge variations in appearance. Most Demons have Horns, Tails and Wings. But those Wings are not big enough to allow them to fly. Depending on their parents they can also have visual traits from other Species like animal ears and tails.

Their physiology is highly varied but they usually posses high strength and good smell but they are not the most intelligent Species.

Sin

Demons like doing things that most people would consider sinful. Each Demon has different sins that they prefer and maybe even some they don’t like, particularly when they get in the way of the ones they like more.

Superbia (pride)

Demons like to think they are the best. Individually but also as a Species. But this idea of pride isn’t based on hard work at all.

Some Demons go so far as force others to treat them like royalty and demand frequent praise from everyone. They are especially proud of their bloodline and ancestor but in some cases also their children. This is particularly common amongst the ruling class.

Avaritia (greed)

Demons like keeping things to themselves and they never give gifts.

Some Demons made it their life purpose to accumulate as much wealth as possible even to the point that they stop spending money on things that benefit themselves, including food.

Luxuria (lust)

Demons like having sex for fun.

Some Demons dedicate their life to having as much sex as possible. Those Demons often try to constantly find new experiences with often leads to Cross Breeding. But they also often use Magic to prevent pregnancies so they don’t have to take breaks from sex to take care of children.

Ira (wrath)

Demons rarely forgive. They are often out for revenge.

Some Demons dedicate their entire life to revenge. In many cases even for minor wrongdoings by others.

Gula (gluttony)

Demons love eating. Demon culture involves a lot of social eating and they often see it as a competition to eat more then anyone else.

Some Demons dedicate their life to eating. They are constantly on the hunt for new meals and recipes.

Invidia (envy)

Demons hate seeing others having more then them, especially if they are different Species. They regularly attack merchants or raid cities, not for personal gain but just because they hate seeing others have more then them.

Some Demons are so blinded by envy they start attacking anyone who has anything they want. That can be money, luxury but also people they like or potential mating partners.

Acedia (sloth)

Demons hate working. They have no work ethic. They feel like they deserve things without effort. One of the reasons why slavery is common amongst them.

Some Demons are so lazy they spend most of their life just laying around not doing anything.

Magic

Every Demons has some kind of Magical potential and it is common for them to posses powerful Magic. They often dedicate their studies of Magic towards their favourite sin.

Reproduction

Demons with mixed parents often take on traits from their none Demon parent, this can only be visually like Elf ears but also influence their Magical abilities or even personality.

There are some Demons that have the reproductive organs of the opposite gender, women with male genitalia and men with a full female uterus. They have offspring with the same traits, even when Cross Breeding with other species. This means most Species can have the other genders reproductive organs. But the offspring of those have the normal genitalia again unless they reproduce with a member of their Species that also has the opposite genders genitalia. Amazons are unaffected by this.

Incubi and Succubi are a subspecies of Demons that extract Mana by having sex. They are not capable of reproduction and have a short life expectancy since they depend on regular sex to survive.
